The original DECT system is an excellent home cordless solution that was adapted with varying degrees of success for WLL applications by various manufacturers. However corDECT and Midas’ newer generation systems are the only ones that were designed from the ground up for  high data rate, high spectrum efficiency, carrier class WLL applications while conforming to the original ETSI air interface specification.
