xDSL Service over existing copper

Midas enables Service providers to extend broadband internet and triple play services over existing copper using our industry standard DSLAMs and the ULC. Network and device configurations can be customized to meet the specific needs of the service provider. The DSLAMs are compatible with a wide range of xDSL modems/CPEs.

Midas' DSLAMs can be integrated with a service provider's existing network infrastructure.

DLC based Triple Play service

Service providers can deploy Midas' ULC as a traditional Digital Loop Carrier with voice and TDM services as well as broadband (DSL) services. Midas' solution offers a seamless transition of additional services such as DSL to voice-only customers as well as network compatibility when switching to a Next Generation Network.

Next Generation Network (NGN)

Midas has a comprehensive Next Generation Access Gateway solution using the ULC platform. Service providers implementing NGNs can seamlessly expand capacity by deploying the ULC and connecting it to the NGN infrastructure. This enables triple play service delivery to subscribers without the need to write-off access network infrastructure.

Metro Ethernet access networks

Midas offers a range of solutions for deploying Ethernet services in the last mile. Using Midas' M2404 series Ethernet switches, service providers can implement a managed, reliable Metro Ethernet service.

Service providers implementing over-head Ethernet cabling in the access network can deploy a combination of Midas' M2404 and C-Switch to establish a managed Ethernet network in a traditionally un-managed environment.
