corVAN 200
corVAN is the main switching element in the BroadbandcorDECT system. It has a capacity of 5000 subscribers and can be linked to multiple corVANs for larger capacity. Each corVAN supports up to 80 base stations (both directly as well as through Base Station Distributors). corVAN can be interfaced with the PSTN as an access node via V5.2. It also supports local switching capabilities when configured with R2 or SS7. Internet connectivity is provided via Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. |

eXtended Base Station (XBS)
This is a Base station in the BroadbandcorDECT system. |

Base Station Distributor (BXD)
The Base Station Distributor has an E1 interface to the corVAN and supports a constellation of Base Stations. |

Relay Base Station (RBS)
The Relay Base Station is an in-band relay station that can be placed up to 25 km from a Base Station. Service can now be offered to subscribers in a 10 km line-of-sight range around the RBS. |

Integrated Access Devices (FRS)
BroadbandcorDECT has multiple Integrated Access Devices (or Subscriber Terminals). Variants are available supporting Voice only, Data only as well as Voice & Data services. Data speeds up to 256 kbps are supported along with toll quality voice. The data interface is software upgradeable to 512 kbps. An FRS can be placed up to 10 km line-of-sight from a Base Station. |

corPAT
corPAT is a performance analysis tool. It uses logs and data collected from the BroadbandcorDECT system and the EMS to help service providers to grow their business. For example, it can monitor utilization levels on a Base Station to help the service provider decide whether to add an additional Base Station site or to sign up more subscribers. |
