Shirish is a founding director of Midas and is currently the CEO of the company. Shirish oversees business development, customer relationships and relationships with technology partners.

Shirish has a strong track record in managing development activities in the technology space and in managing a company through its early evolution. He has over 16 years of experience managing design and development activities in industrial automation, monitoring & control systems, telecommunications and networking products.

Shirish is a serial entrepreneur. He started Texel Systems in 1987 - Texel specialized in automating test and measurement systems. The company was subsequently merged with Cutfast I-Tech (P) Ltd. In 1991, he started X-Controls, a products company in control systems, automobile electronics and telecommunications. In 1994, Shirish co-founded Midas.

Shirish is a recipient of several awards, most recently he was recognized as a Young Leader for Science & Technology and given the National Leadership Award 2005 by the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, India.

Shirish holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power & Electronics from Regional Engineering College, Nagpur and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras. He specialized in integrated circuits and system design.

Rene is the Chief Technology Officer at Midas. He manages Operations, Product Development Lifecycles, Research & Development. Rene provides hands-on leadership and strategy for new cost effective telecommunication solutions. A co-founder of Midas, Rene has nurtured a team of engineers since inception into leaders of Midas' product development efforts.

Prior to Midas, Rene worked with Shirish at Texel System and then in Cutfast I-Tech Pvt, Ltd. As an embedded systems design engineer, Rene's skills cover telecom system design, real-time software development, analog and digital IC design, DSO and micro controller based system design. He has 15 years of experience at senior management levels in the electronics industry.

Rene holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from IIT Madras.

In 1965, Ray founded Analog Devices, Inc.. with his former MIT roommate, Matthew Lorber and Richard Burwen (a Harvard alumnus). Ray served as senior vice president for marketing, sales and engineering at the company before assuming the position of president in 1971. He has been chairman and chief executive officer from 1973 to 1996. Now Ray serves as Chairman of ADI. Ray has also invested in a large number of promising technology companies in different countries over the years.

Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala is Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering,IIT Madras, India and is a former Department Chair. He received his B.Tech degree from IIT Kanpur in 1975, and his Masters and Ph.D degrees from the University of Maine, USA in 1977 and 1979, respectively. From 1979 to 1981, he was with Washington State University as an Assistant Professor. Since 1981, he has been teaching at IIT Madras. Prof. Jhunjhunwala leads the Telecommunications and Computer Networks group (TeNET) at IIT Madras.

A recipient of the Padmashree (a National award from the Government of India) in the year 2002, for his contributions towards Science, Engineering and technology development, Dr.Jhunjhunwala has also been awarded Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award for outstanding contributions in the field of Engineering Sciences in 1998. He has received the Dr.Vikram Sarabhai Research Award for the year 1997. He has also received Millennium Medal at Indian Science Congress in the year 2000 and Dr. P.Sheel Memorial Lecture Award of the Academy for the year 2001 by National Academy of Sciences, India. He is a Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering, Indian National Science Academy and National Academy of Science and a Governor of International Council for Computer Communications (ICCC).

Jason Martin is Managing Director of Argonaut Private Equity, a venture capital and buyout firm dedicated to financing and growing emerging market leaders. Prior to joining Argonaut, Jason was Managing Director of Solutions Architecture for Williams Communications, where he led investments in more than a dozen companies. His previous experience includes senior management positions in the telecommunications industry and managing institutional investment programs. Jason is also on the boards of Luminus Devices, VoiceSignal, Cetek, Sol-Gel and Yulex. He is a graduate of Harvard University.

Anil Khatod is a Managing Director at Argonaut Private Equity, a diversified global private equity fund with more than $2 billion under management. Anil has extensive experience spanning over 26 years in leading large and small companies. In 1980, he co-founded and subsequently sold a liquid crystal display and semiconductor company in Sunnyvale, California.

Anil joined Nortel Networks in 1982 where he served in various executive roles including VP of Marketing & Sales, VP of Operations, Division President of Optical Internet, Group President of Internet Solutions and Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer. In 2001, Anil joined Atlas Venture as a venture partner.

Most recently, Anil was the CEO of AirDefense, a market leader in wireless network security serving more than 500 major enterprise customers globally. Over the last 10 years, Anil has also been an angel investor and he serves on several boards in India and the U.S.

Rajesh Jain is the Managing Director of Netcore Solutions Pvt Ltd. Rajesh has a Bachelors degree in in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay (1998) and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York (1989). He worked at Nynex Science & Technology for two years before returning to India in 1992. Rajesh launched India World in 1995 and grew it to be one of the largest collections of India-centric websites comprising Samachar, Khel, Khoj and Bawarchi. India World was acquired by SIFY in November 1999 for USD 115 million in one of Asia's largest Internet deals.
